In 2006, Lisa achieved the highest production award given by the Martinsville, Henry & Patrick County Association of Realtors®, the Diamond Sales Award for over 4 million in Sales. Also, Lisa was honored with an additional award for Top Listing Unit Production, meaning Lisa had more SOLD listings than any other Realtor® in the Martinsville, Henry & Patrick County Association of Realtors®.
Being one of the youngest, if not the youngest Realtor to enter the real estate business in our area, Lisa has proven herself with her dedication and determination to succeed. Being young and fresh, it provides for advantages and obstacles to overcome. Advantages of new ideas and techniques to help you sell your property faster utilizing new technology that other Realtors® are not aware of, disadvantages of having to work harder than older Realtors® to prove herself each and everyday in her business.
Lisa Kester has been a licensed Realtor® since 2002. During her first full year in real estate she closed over 1 Million Dollars in Sales and was presented with the 2003 Rookie of the Year Award from the Martinsville-Henry County Association of Realtors®. In 2004, Lisa successfully closed over 2 Million Dollars in Sales and was awarded the 2004 Gold Production Award by the Martinsville-Henry County Association of Realtors® and continued that trend in 2005 with over 2 million in sales and again recieving the Gold Production Award.
She was designated as an Accredited Buyers Representative in 2003. This coveted designation is awarded by the Real Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors®. She is currently 1 of 2 area Realtors® to hold a REBAC membership and ABR designation.
Lisa was awarded the REALTOR® e-PRO designation also in 2003. This designation was awarded by the National Association of Realtors® to real estate professionals who have been certified through training as Internet Professionals. Lisa was the first area Realtor® to complete the NAR requirements for this designation. She is currently 1 of only 2 e-PRO designated Realtors® in our area.
In 2006, Lisa completed the requirements to Licensed as A Real Estate Broker in the State of VA, she currently serves as an Associate Broker wth Commonwealth LLC Realtors and also is owner and Principal Broker of Property Source of VA LLC.
Lisa is also an Real Esate Appraiser Trainee with Piedmont Appraisal Services.
